In Nepal, here we have a lot of amazing artists with a wonderful voices and unique music but they are underrated and undiscovered so unknown to many people. Here I have listed some of them below. They might have fewer views and a low audience listening to them but they truly deserve more than that. Maybe them being underrated is something special itself. It’s like me and my little music which is not spoiled by TikTok or something like that.

So here is the list:

Phosphenes
This band is awesome and makes music in which you’ll be lost in the true sense. I personally listen to them when I am feeling low. Their new album Sullen Days has just been released which consists of 14 songs. Their biggest hit is Yestainai Hola by which many discovered them. Although Yestai Nai Hola is a song in the Nepali language, they usually write songs in English. Definitely, you should listen to them if you like Indie Rock music.

 
Yugal Gurung 
He is a Nepali indie music artist based in Britain. He makes music with different and unique vibes. His songs make you feel good when you are lonely. His most popular song is Afno Sansar which has cool music and of course soothing vocals of Yugal. My personal favourites are Samai Deu, Parkhai and Afno Sansar. 

 
ROCKHEADS
This is a new band and this is rocking already. As the name suggests their genre is rock but their songs have a unique kind of mixture of Nepali Contemporary style songs and rock. Some songs are pure rock though. Their songs go through ups and downs which is really amazing to enjoy. And if you like rock then definitely check them out.

 
Indie Diaries Nepal
This is not the name of the artist but a youtube chanel. But you’ll wonder why this is on the list. Well, Because this channel features new and emerging and amateur artist which is really underrated so check this channel out.
